What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Anago's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Unit Franchise Operating Manual is initially loaned to the franchisee. However, if the manual is lost, stolen, or destroyed, a replacement copy will be loaned to the franchisee at a fee of $500. A partial loss or failure to update the manual is considered a complete loss, requiring replacement at the same cost.
Anago requires franchisees to operate in conformity with the standards and specifications outlined in the Unit Franchise Operating Manual. Franchisees must also maintain an internet e-mail connection and purchase a cellular phone as specified in the Manual. Franchisees must ensure their copy of the manual contains all updates received from Anago, with Anago's master copy controlling in case of disputes.
Subfranchisors also receive a copy of the Anago Manuals, which they are required to provide to their Unit Franchisees. Subfranchisors cannot emulate, edit, or alter the manuals. If the Subfranchisor loses their Anago Manuals, a replacement set must be purchased from Anago at a cost of $500.
