What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Anago's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Subfranchisees are required to provide Anago with a copy of all statements issued to their Unit Franchisees by the 25th day of each month. These statements must be in the format and manner designated by Anago. Anago retains the option to request these statements as hard copies sent via mail or courier, or through electronic data transmission using a modem or Internet access.

This requirement ensures that Anago maintains oversight of the financial interactions between Subfranchisees and their Unit Franchisees. By mandating a specific deadline and format for these statements, Anago aims to standardize reporting and facilitate efficient monitoring of financial activities within the franchise system. This allows Anago to track payments, identify potential discrepancies, and ensure compliance with the terms of the franchise agreements.

For a prospective Anago Subfranchisee, this means incorporating this monthly reporting task into their operational schedule. Failure to comply with this requirement could potentially lead to penalties or other consequences as outlined in the Subfranchise Rights Agreement. Therefore, it is crucial for Subfranchisees to establish a system for accurately and promptly compiling and submitting these statements to Anago each month.
