What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Anago's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Subfranchisor is expected to focus on recruiting prospective franchisees within their designated area. Specifically, the Subfranchisor must try to find candidates in the area who meet Anago's current qualifications to operate a Unit franchise.
Furthermore, the Subfranchisor is obligated to forward any inquiries they receive about establishing a franchise outside of their designated area directly to Anago. This ensures that Anago maintains control over franchise expansion in different regions and can properly manage its franchise network.
In a Collateral Assignment of Client Accounts agreement involving Anago, the Subfranchisor, and a corporate entity, it's noted that the Subfranchisor was granted the right to operate an "Anago Subfranchise Business" within a designated area. This designated area is a key component of the agreement, defining the geographical limits of the Subfranchisor's operational rights and responsibilities.
