What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Anago's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Anago provides assistance to Subfranchisors in the preparation of advertising brochures for Unit Franchisees as part of the pre-opening support. Specifically, Anago will provide assistance in the preparation of advertising brochures, compiling a list of local suppliers and prospective clients, and setting up local newspaper advertising for the Unit Franchisees.

This support is provided after the Subfranchise Rights Agreement is signed and before the Subfranchise Rights Business begins operation, assuming the Subfranchisee is not in default of their agreement. This assistance is part of a broader package of pre-opening support that also includes initial training, loan of the Anago Manuals, and specifications for the computer system and custom NBDS formats.

While Anago offers this initial support, the Subfranchisee is also subject to certain advertising requirements and oversight. For instance, all advertising materials, including electronic media, must receive Anago's written approval before use. Subfranchisees must also comply with all laws regulating advertising content, including registration with and approval by state franchise regulators. Anago may also require a tagline indicating franchise or career opportunities are available in any advertising. Subfranchisees are also subject to an annual minimum Client Marketing Spend of at least $50,000 per calendar year on marketing Anago services to existing and potential clients in their area.
