What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Anago's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are permitted to solicit and negotiate additional business with clients that have already been assigned to them. However, any additional business that is secured must be reflected in an amendment to the existing contract with the client. This amendment is subject to the same provisions as the original contract assignment.
Anago acts as the franchisee's agent for billing and collections related to this additional business. This means that Anago will invoice the client for the extra services and retain the fees earned under the franchise agreement. The franchisee is required to have all additional business reflected on an amendment to the contract with the account and will be subject to the provisions of the assignment of the contract, including Anago’s appointment as the agent for billing and collections related to the additional business.
All accounts assigned to the franchisee, or those the franchisee joins, must be serviced according to the times, frequency, and cleaning specifications determined by the client. This ensures that the quality and standards of service are maintained, even as the scope of work expands. This arrangement allows Anago to maintain control over billing and service standards while enabling franchisees to grow their business with existing clients.
