What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Amorino's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Amorino may require a franchisee's Supervising Principal, Manager, or other designated employees to attend additional training courses, seminars, and programs based on the franchisee's performance under the Franchise Agreement.
This additional training is not free. The franchisee is responsible for paying Amorino a reasonable cost for providing the additional training, which is currently up to $400 per day. The franchisee must also cover all related costs and expenses, including salary, travel, lodging, and dining, for all individuals participating in the training.
This clause in the franchise agreement allows Amorino to ensure that franchisees are operating their businesses according to the company's standards and methods. If a franchisee's performance is lacking, Amorino can mandate additional training to improve operations and maintain brand consistency. This is a fairly standard practice in franchising, as franchisors need to protect their brand and ensure consistent quality across all locations. The cost of this training should be factored into the potential costs of the franchise.
