How is the site selection date determined for an Amorino franchise?
Amorino Franchise · 2025 FDDAnswer from 2025 FDD Document
When the Store signs the Franchise Agreement, we will mutually agree on a site selection date which will be the date by which you must have secured a location and signed a lease. You must construct, equip and improve the Store in compliance with our current design standards and trade dress. The Store must purchase and install, at your expense, all millwork and customized seating, fixtures, furnishings, equipment (including a point-of-sale cash register system), decor, and signs from an approved third-party supplier. The kiosk locations shall be constructed in accordance with our current design standards.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Amorino's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the site selection date is mutually agreed upon by Amorino and the franchisee when the Franchise Agreement is signed. This date represents the deadline by which the franchisee must secure a location and sign a lease for their Amorino store.
Amorino requires that the site meet their specific site selection criteria, and they must approve the location. Furthermore, if the location is leased, the lease agreement must include terms specified by Amorino in the Franchise Agreement, as detailed in Item 11. While Amorino mandates certain terms in the lease, they do not otherwise have any control over or affiliation with the landlord.
It is the franchisee's responsibility to construct, equip, and improve the store to meet Amorino's current design standards and trade dress. This includes purchasing and installing all necessary millwork, customized seating, fixtures, furnishings, equipment (including a point-of-sale system), decor, and signs from an approved third-party supplier. Kiosk locations must also adhere to Amorino's design standards.
This process highlights the importance of thorough communication and planning between Amorino and the franchisee to ensure a suitable location is secured and developed in a timely manner. The franchisee bears the responsibility for finding and securing the site, while Amorino retains approval rights and sets the standards for the store's design and build-out.
