Franchise headquarters, as further described in this Item below, and we will send one or more individuals to provide you with five consecutive days of on-site training and store opening assistance at the location for your Store. (Franchise Agreement, Sections 7.A and 7.C). You will be responsible for all travel, lodging, dining and similar costs for the individual who provides such assistance at your Store, as well as for any trainees who attend the training. We do not have a fixed schedule for offering initial training programs to new franchisees, rather, we provide the initial training on as as-needed basis, as we sign up new franchisees. We will provide you with the initial training program after you sign the franchise agreement and at least one month before your scheduled opening.

If you sign an area development agreement: a) we only provide you with the Paris ten-day initial training for your first location; and b) we only provide you with the on-site five-day training at your first, second and third stores but not for any additional stores. (Franchise Agreement, Section 7(A); Area Development Agreement, Section 6.1).

At your request (or if we require based on your performance), we will provide additional store opening assistance, for a per diem fee and reimbursement of all travel, lodging, dining and similar costs for the individual(s) providing such additional assistance. (Franchise Agreement, Sections 7.G)

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Amorino's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is responsible for covering the costs associated with the on-site assistance provided by Amorino representatives. Specifically, the franchisee must pay for all travel, lodging, dining, and similar expenses incurred by the Amorino representative during the five consecutive days of on-site training and store opening assistance at the franchisee's store location.

This requirement has significant financial implications for prospective Amorino franchisees. These costs can add up quickly depending on the distance the Amorino representative must travel, the cost of lodging in the area, and daily dining expenses. It is important for potential franchisees to factor these expenses into their initial investment calculations.

Furthermore, if a franchisee requests additional store opening assistance beyond the initial five days (or if Amorino requires it based on performance), the franchisee will be responsible for a per diem fee in addition to reimbursing all travel, lodging, dining, and similar costs for the individual(s) providing the additional assistance. This could substantially increase expenses if the franchisee needs more support during the store opening phase. This is a fairly standard practice in the franchise industry, as the franchisee directly benefits from the on-site support.
