What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Amorino's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee wants to participate in special events within their protected area, such as fairs, sporting events, exhibitions, charity events, concerts, or conventions, they must notify Amorino of the opportunity. This notification should include details about the event's type and location, the nature of the franchisee's proposed participation, and any other information Amorino reasonably requests.

Upon receiving this notification from the franchisee, Amorino has a few options. Amorino has a reasonable time to consider the franchisee's request and can either grant or deny it. Alternatively, Amorino may elect to undertake the participation in the event themselves.

This clause allows Amorino to maintain control over its brand's representation at public events, ensuring consistency and quality. For a prospective franchisee, this means they cannot independently decide to set up an Amorino booth at a local fair without prior approval from Amorino. This requirement ensures that all event participation aligns with Amorino's overall marketing and brand strategy. It also gives Amorino the option to manage the event directly, potentially maximizing the brand's exposure and impact.
