Amorino Franchise · 2025 FDDAnswer from 2025 FDD Document
If you have the opportunity to provide Amorino goods or services at special events in your Protected Area, such as at fairs, sporting events, exhibitions, charity events, concerts, conventions and the like, you agree to notify us of the opportunity.
If you desire to participate in any such event or events, you must notify us of the type and location of the event, the nature of your proposed participation and any other information we reasonably request.
We will have a reasonable time to consider and grant or deny your request or we may elect to undertake the participation ourselves.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Amorino's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must notify Amorino if they have the opportunity to provide Amorino goods or services at special events within their protected area, such as fairs, sporting events, exhibitions, charity events, concerts, and conventions. If a franchisee desires to participate in such an event, they must inform Amorino of the event's type and location, the nature of their proposed participation, and any other information Amorino reasonably requests.
Amorino then has a reasonable time to consider the franchisee's request and either grant or deny it. However, Amorino also has the option to elect to undertake the participation themselves. This means that while a franchisee has the first opportunity to engage in special events within their territory, Amorino retains the right to handle these events themselves if they choose.
This clause in the franchise agreement ensures that Amorino maintains control over its brand representation at significant events, but it also introduces a potential point of contention between the franchisor and franchisee. A franchisee might feel entitled to the revenue and exposure from local events, but Amorino reserves the right to step in, potentially impacting the franchisee's business. Prospective franchisees should discuss with Amorino the criteria and process they use to decide whether to allow the franchisee to participate or whether Amorino will handle the event directly.
