What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Amorino's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must maintain comprehensive commercial general liability insurance with specific minimum coverage limits. The minimum coverage required for personal and advertising injury is $1,000,000 per occurrence.
In addition to the personal and advertising injury coverage, Amorino requires franchisees to maintain other coverage limits, including $2,000,000 for general aggregate, $2,000,000 for products/completed operations aggregate, $1,000,000 for each occurrence, $50,000 for fire damage legal liability, and $5,000 for medical expenses for any one person. Franchisees must also carry employer's liability coverage, business automobile liability coverage, workers' compensation insurance, and commercial umbrella coverage.
Amorino retains the right to modify these insurance requirements, potentially increasing the minimum coverage amounts to reflect inflation or changing market conditions. It is the franchisee's responsibility to ensure they maintain the required insurance coverage at all times during the term of the franchise agreement. Failure to maintain adequate insurance could result in Amorino procuring insurance on the franchisee's behalf, with the franchisee responsible for reimbursing Amorino for the premium costs.
