What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Amorino's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee wants to renew their franchise agreement, they must pay a renewal fee no later than 30 days prior to the expiration of the current term. The renewal fee is equal to twenty-five percent (25%) of Amorino's then-current initial franchise fee for each five-year renewal term.

In addition to paying the renewal fee, the franchisee must also sign an amendment to the existing agreement to reflect any new terms in Amorino's current franchise agreement. Amorino also has the option to require the franchisee to sign the then-current form of the franchise agreement or an agreement stipulating renewal of the existing agreement.

It is important to note that the terms of the renewed franchise agreement may be materially different from the original agreement, potentially including different or higher fees. The franchisee must also provide a written notice of their intent to renew the franchise at least three months (but no more than six months) before the expiration of the current term and not be in default of the agreement.
