What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Amorino's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee wants to purchase or lease equipment, furnishings, or fixtures not already approved, they must first notify Amorino. Amorino may then require the franchisee to provide photographs, drawings, specifications, or other information to assess whether the items comply with Amorino's standards.
This requirement ensures that all elements within the Amorino franchise maintain a consistent brand image and meet the franchisor's quality standards. By retaining the right to approve or disapprove proposed purchases, Amorino can control the look and feel of each location, which is crucial for brand recognition and customer experience.
For a prospective franchisee, this means they cannot independently select equipment or furnishings without prior approval from Amorino. They need to factor in the time required for Amorino to review and respond to their proposals. Failing to adhere to this process could result in the franchisee being non-compliant with the franchise agreement and potentially facing penalties.
