What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Amorino's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to establish and maintain a reliable primary broadband internet connection and a backup internet connection at their store. This internet connection is essential for software updates, downloading purposes, and allowing Amorino to monitor the store's sales and revenue.
This requirement ensures that the Amorino franchise can operate efficiently with up-to-date software and that sales data is accurately transmitted to the franchisor. Having a backup internet connection minimizes disruptions to the business operations in case the primary connection fails.
For a prospective franchisee, this means factoring in the costs of both a primary and backup broadband internet connection when assessing the overall investment. It is important to research reliable internet service providers in the store's location and ensure that the infrastructure can support the required bandwidth for the POS system and other operational needs. Failing to maintain a reliable internet connection could lead to operational inefficiencies and potential breaches of the franchise agreement.
