What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Amorino's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, completing required training is a condition for franchise renewal. To renew for two additional consecutive five-year terms, the franchisee must not be in default of the agreement and must have substantially complied with its terms.
Specifically, the franchisee must "complete any training we require and complete the renovations and updates to the Store described in Section 2.C(1)." This means that Amorino can mandate specific training programs as a prerequisite for renewal, ensuring franchisees are up-to-date with the brand's standards and practices.
In addition to completing required training, franchisees must also complete any required store renovations or updates. Meeting these conditions, along with providing written notice of intent to renew, signing a general release, paying a renewal fee of 25% of the then-current initial franchise fee, and signing an amendment to the franchise agreement, are all necessary steps for securing a renewal term with Amorino.
