What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Amorino's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are not allowed to create their own websites or use any electronic media to advertise their store or mention the Amorino name without obtaining written consent from Amorino. However, Amorino will list the store's location, phone number, and opening hours on its own website.
This restriction is common in franchising, as franchisors like Amorino want to maintain brand consistency and control the online presence of their brand. By requiring written consent, Amorino ensures that all online marketing efforts align with their overall brand strategy and standards. This protects the brand's reputation and prevents franchisees from making misleading or inaccurate claims.
While franchisees are restricted from creating their own websites without approval, they can develop their own advertising and marketing materials, subject to the requirements in Amorino's operating manual and prior approval from Amorino. Amorino will review submitted advertising and marketing materials and make an effort to approve or reject them within 15 days of receipt. However, these materials cannot be used until approved, and Amorino has the right to disapprove of previously approved materials.
