What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Amorino's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the estimated total initial investment for a Traditional store ranges from $438,700 to $980,500. For a Kiosk location, the estimated total initial investment ranges from $106,700 to $182,500. These figures include various costs such as freight, duties, storage, delivery, P.O.S. systems, inventory, signage, store opening promotional fees, store opening assistance/initial training, and additional funds for the first three months of operation.
Prospective Amorino franchisees should note that these estimates do not include managerial salaries or any payment to the franchisee. Additionally, the estimates do not account for finance payments, charges, interest, or related costs if any portion of the initial investment is financed. The cost of a security system, estimated at $100 to $150 per month to lease, is also not included. These amounts are the minimum recommended levels to cover operating expenses, including employee salaries, for three months, and additional working capital may be required if sales are low or fixed costs are high.
It is important to recognize that all fees paid to Amorino are non-refundable, and other fees may also be non-refundable depending on the arrangements made with third parties such as architects, engineers, attorneys, and landlords. While Amorino does not offer direct or indirect financing, financing may be available from third-party lenders, but the estimated amounts in the tables do not include any finance charges, interest, or other fees a lender may charge. Franchisees are required to purchase furniture, equipment, casework, and restaurant supplies from Amorino's approved third-party vendors/suppliers and may be required to maintain a preventative maintenance agreement with the applicable manufacturer(s).
For a Mobile location, the FDD mentions that the mobile structure unit could be imported from Europe and the invoice will be in Euros. As an example, the ex-factory price of an Apecar mobile unit is around Euro 28,800, or $34,560. This amount will vary depending on the currency exchange rate at the time of purchase. The franchisee is required to sell the Mobile unit back to Amorino upon termination or expiration of the franchise agreement, for an amount based on a schedule set forth in the franchise agreement.
