What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Amorino's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee may renew their franchise agreement for two additional five-year terms if they meet certain conditions. One of these conditions is providing Amorino with written notice of their intent to renew. This notice must be given at least three months, but no more than six months, before the expiration of the current term.
This requirement ensures that Amorino has sufficient time to assess the franchisee's eligibility for renewal and to plan for the future of the franchise network. Failing to provide timely notice could result in the franchisee losing the opportunity to renew their franchise.
In addition to providing timely notice, the franchisee must also be in good standing with Amorino, meaning they must not be in default of the franchise agreement and must have substantially complied with its terms. They must also complete any required training and store renovations, sign a general release, pay a renewal fee equal to 25% of the then-current initial franchise fee, and provide evidence of a valid lease for the renewal term.
