What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Amorino's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, to renew the franchise agreement for an additional term, a franchisee must sign a general release and have each person who has guaranteed their obligations under the agreement also sign the general release. This must be done no later than 30 days prior to the expiration of the current term. The general release must be in a form satisfactory to Amorino.

In addition to the general release, Amorino will deliver a copy of their then-current franchise agreement or an applicable amendment, at least 60 days before the expiration of the current term, which will govern the renewal term. The terms of the renewed franchise agreement may be materially different from the original agreement, potentially including different or higher fees.

Furthermore, as a condition of renewal, the franchisee must complete any required training and complete any renovations and updates to the store that Amorino deems necessary to conform to their current standards. Amorino is to provide a list of required renovations, upgrades, and new or replacement furniture, fixtures, and equipment no later than 180 days prior to the expiration of the current term. However, failure to provide the list on time does not waive Amorino's right to require these improvements.
