What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Amerispec Inspection Services Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee can relocate their office under specific conditions. The franchisee must obtain written approval from Amerispec Inspection Services before relocating. To request this approval, the franchisee is required to notify Amerispec Inspection Services in writing of the planned change in location at least 30 days prior to the intended relocation. This ensures that Amerispec Inspection Services is informed and can assess the suitability of the new location.

This requirement allows Amerispec Inspection Services to maintain brand consistency and ensure that the new location meets certain standards. It also gives Amerispec Inspection Services the opportunity to evaluate whether the relocation will impact the franchisee's ability to effectively serve their designated territory. The franchisee is entitled to request a map indicating the geographic area of their designated territory from Amerispec Inspection Services.

It is important for prospective franchisees to understand this relocation policy, as moving without approval could potentially violate the franchise agreement. Franchisees should carefully consider the implications of this policy when selecting their initial office location and planning for future business growth. Maintaining open communication with Amerispec Inspection Services regarding any potential relocation is crucial to ensure compliance with the franchise agreement and to avoid any potential disputes.
