What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 AmeriSpec Inspection Services FDD, AmeriSpec Inspection Services retains ownership of the email account and email address provided to the franchisee. AmeriSpec Inspection Services will provide up to two email accounts per franchise at no cost. The email address will follow the format of (Franchisee's first initial)(Franchisee's last name)@AmeriSpec.net.

AmeriSpec Inspection Services reserves the right to charge a license fee for the email accounts in the future, providing at least 30 days' notice. The franchisee is responsible for any costs incurred in using or accessing the email account. While franchisees have access to the email account, they cannot share it with any other person or entity without prior written approval from AmeriSpec Inspection Services.

AmeriSpec Inspection Services may provide additional guidelines for email account use and set limits for maximum disk quota, currently at 25MB per account, with a maximum attachment upload size of 10MB. AmeriSpec Inspection Services also has the right to apply anti-spam and anti-virus solutions to the email accounts but does not guarantee their effectiveness and is not liable for any loss or damages resulting from these solutions.

Upon termination or expiration of the franchise agreement, the franchisee must transfer all rights to use the email addresses to AmeriSpec Inspection Services. This ensures that AmeriSpec Inspection Services maintains control over its brand and communication channels, which is a common practice in franchising to protect brand consistency and customer relationships.
