What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Amerispec Inspection Services's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Amerispec Inspection Services retains the authority to modify or change its policies, procedures, and directives. This includes the ability to change or add to the services offered by the Franchised Business. This gives Amerispec Inspection Services considerable latitude in how the franchise operates and what services it provides.

For a prospective franchisee, this means that the policies, procedures, and services that are in place when they initially invest in the franchise may not remain the same. Amerispec Inspection Services could introduce new services that franchisees are required to offer, or change the way existing services are delivered. Franchisees must stay adaptable and prepared to implement changes directed by Amerispec Inspection Services to remain compliant.

This level of control is relatively common in franchising, as it allows franchisors to maintain brand consistency and adapt to changing market conditions. However, it also places a degree of risk on the franchisee, who may need to invest additional time or money to comply with the changes implemented by Amerispec Inspection Services. Franchisees should seek clarification from Amerispec Inspection Services regarding the frequency and scope of potential changes to these policies, procedures, and directives.
