What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Amerispec Inspection Services's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the company provides initial training that includes both management and technical aspects. The technical training focuses on home inspection services. While Amerispec Inspection Services may offer training on commercial building inspections, they are not required to do so. The franchisee is ultimately responsible for ensuring they are adequately trained and that the company approves any services offered under the Amerispec Inspection Services name.

Amerispec Inspection Services may develop training programs for additional commercial building inspection services as they become available. If these programs are developed, Amerispec Inspection Services may require franchisees to attend as a condition of being authorized to provide the service. The franchisee is responsible for all expenses related to attending these training programs, including transportation, hotel, meals, and other out-of-pocket costs.

While the initial training focuses on home inspections, Amerispec Inspection Services does allow franchisees to inspect commercial buildings. The franchisee must ensure they are properly trained to perform any service offered and that the performance of any such service is approved by Amerispec Inspection Services in writing. This indicates that while training may not be mandatory, approval from Amerispec Inspection Services is required before offering commercial building inspection services.
