What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Amerispec Inspection Services FDD, franchisees are required to remove all signs and logos identifying their business premises as an AmeriSpec business immediately upon termination or expiration of their franchise agreement. This includes both interior and exterior signs, as well as any AmeriSpec signage on vehicles.
If a franchisee fails to remove these signs, Amerispec Inspection Services has the right to remove them without providing prior notice. The franchisee will be responsible for covering the expenses associated with this removal.
This clause ensures that upon termination or expiration of the franchise agreement, the franchisee promptly ceases to represent themselves as part of the Amerispec Inspection Services brand, and if they don't, Amerispec Inspection Services can take immediate action to protect its brand identity, with the costs borne by the franchisee.
