What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Amerispec Inspection Services' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees can expect vehicle graphics installation costs to range from $120 to $160. This is in addition to the cost of the vehicle graphics themselves, which range from $300 to $1,500, plus shipping and handling. The FDD stipulates that the franchisee's service vehicle must be white, red, or navy blue, adhere to Amerispec Inspection Services' vehicle identity standards, and be in good working condition.

Franchisees have the option to use a vehicle they already own if it meets the required specifications, or they can choose to lease or purchase a new vehicle. However, if a franchisee lives in a community that prohibits identified vehicles, they may request an exception from Amerispec Inspection Services to use magnetic sign vehicle identification instead. If this exception is granted, the franchisee will need to supply magnetic signs to their certified inspectors.

These costs are part of the broader "Vehicle Expenses" category in the initial investment, which also includes gasoline expenses for three months, vehicle license, tax, and title fees, and three monthly payments. The FDD notes that actual expenses may vary depending on the franchisee's location, choice of vehicle, and the number of inspectors who are furnished a company vehicle. Therefore, it is important for prospective franchisees to consider these factors when estimating their initial investment.
