Answer from 2025 FDD Document

At its own expense, the Franchisee may conduct advertising campaigns and promotional programs designed primarily to promote the Franchised Business ("Local Advertising").

Prior to implementing any Local Advertising, the Franchisee shall submit to the Company for approval all advertising and promotional material proposed to be used in connection with the Local Advertising.

The Company has the right to also review and approve internal advertising efforts, such as web sites and electronic mail (e-mail).

The Company may, at its discretion, provide to Franchisee standards to which such internet advertising efforts must conform.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Amerispec Inspection Services FDD, franchisees may conduct local advertising campaigns and promotional programs at their own expense. These efforts are specifically designed to promote the franchisee's local Amerispec Inspection Services business. However, all advertising and promotional materials must be submitted to Amerispec Inspection Services for approval before they are used. This includes internal advertising efforts like websites and email. Amerispec Inspection Services may also provide standards for internet advertising that franchisees must follow.

This means that while franchisees have the freedom to market their specific location, Amerispec Inspection Services retains control over brand messaging and consistency. Franchisees bear the full cost of these local campaigns, so they need to carefully plan their advertising budget and strategies. The approval process ensures that all marketing aligns with the company's brand standards and legal requirements.

For a prospective Amerispec Inspection Services franchisee, this highlights the importance of understanding the corporate advertising guidelines and budgeting for local marketing initiatives. Franchisees should inquire about the specific criteria used to evaluate local advertising materials and any support or resources Amerispec Inspection Services provides to help franchisees develop effective campaigns. Balancing local promotion with corporate brand standards is key to success.
