What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Amerispec Inspection Services's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the company does provide some ongoing assistance to franchisees. Specifically, Amerispec Inspection Services will conduct conventions or seminars for franchisees on a regular basis, though the frequency is at their discretion. They will also develop and implement national or regional advertising and marketing campaigns through the National Advertising Fund. Additionally, Amerispec Inspection Services will periodically update the Operations Manual and the Intranet.

Amerispec Inspection Services also provides ongoing support related to computer systems. They will assist with Level 1 inspection software support and aid vendors with major bug fixes for the AmeriSpec Inspection Software (AIS). Franchisees are required to use specified computer systems and software, and may need to upgrade hardware, with costs potentially reaching up to $4,000 per full-time inspector every 24 months. The annual costs for computer and equipment services range from $1,100 to $1,300, which includes the printer, computer, software, and Internet that are not included in the Marketing and Technology Bundle.

Franchisees may also participate in a voluntary cooperative advertising program (Co-Op) funded by the Ad Fund, which supports local marketing efforts. To qualify, franchisees must meet certain performance standards, such as being current on fees, maintaining accounts receivable, having live answering during business hours, and complying with obligations as a franchisee. While Amerispec Inspection Services provides these forms of ongoing assistance, they are not obligated to provide any other assistance beyond what is listed in the FDD.
