What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 AmeriSpec Inspection Services FDD, the on-the-job training for the Standards portion of the training program will take place within the franchisee's territory. The Standards training includes 0 hours of classroom training and 9 hours of on-the-job training. The classroom portion of the Standards training takes place at the Franchisor’s Training Center in Memphis, Tennessee.
This means that after the initial classroom-based training in Memphis, franchisees will receive practical, hands-on experience in their own designated service area. This localized training allows franchisees to apply the knowledge they've gained in a real-world setting, familiarizing themselves with the specific types of properties and potential issues they are likely to encounter in their territory.
In addition to the Standards training, AmeriSpec Inspection Services also provides in-field practice inspections. These inspections consist of 2 hours of classroom training and 6 hours of on-the-job training. The post academy in-field practice inspections and inspection reports consist of 3 hours of classroom training and 15 hours of on-the-job training, which also take place within the territory.
