What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 AmeriSpec Inspection Services FDD, the AmeriSpec Academy includes 2 hours of classroom training dedicated to appliances. This appliance training is part of the Technical Training (Inspector Training) segment of the academy, which takes place at the Franchisor Training Center in Memphis, TN.
Prior to attending the AmeriSpec Academy, franchisees must complete approximately 40 hours of self-study using a study guide and workbook for an online self-study course. After the academy, franchisees and any inspectors they employ must complete three to four practice inspections and submit inspection reports for evaluation by the Technical Department.
In addition to the initial training, AmeriSpec Inspection Services may offer additional regional training programs and refresher courses to franchisees and their inspectors for continuing technical education.
