Answer from 2025 FDD Document

All inspections conducted by the Franchised Business shall be documented on forms and in the manner as prescribed by the Company, and the Franchisee shall notify the Company of each inspection and source of revenue conducted by the Franchisee by providing such information with respect to each such inspection as, and in the manner, specified by the Company.

The AIS (AmeriSpec Inspection Software) is a software program that allows home inspectors to collect data while performing a home inspection and generate a home inspection report.

Franchisee will use in the Franchised Business the software system, including business contact management software and inspection software, all other existing or future communication or data storage systems, hardware components thereof and associated service, which the Company has developed and/or selected for the System of Operation (the "Computer System").

As part of the Computer System, the Company may require Franchisee to obtain, update, and use specified computer hardware and/or software including, without limitation, a license to use proprietary software developed by us or others (the "Software").

The Company may require Franchisee to electronically upload or transmit information on a periodic basis (including daily).

The Company also has the right to independently access sales information and other data produced by the Computer System.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Amerispec Inspection Services FDD, all inspections conducted by a franchised business must be documented on forms and in the manner prescribed by the company. Franchisees are required to notify Amerispec Inspection Services of each inspection and its revenue source, providing information as specified by the company. This ensures that all inspections adhere to a standardized format and that the franchisor maintains oversight of the business activities.

Amerispec Inspection Services also requires franchisees to use specific software for inspections. The AIS (AmeriSpec Inspection Software) is designed for home inspectors to collect data during inspections and generate reports. Franchisees may be required to obtain, update, and use specified computer hardware and software, ensuring compatibility with Amerispec Inspection Services's systems. The company may also require franchisees to electronically upload or transmit information periodically, including daily data, and has the right to access sales information and other data produced by the computer system.

These requirements ensure consistency and quality across all Amerispec Inspection Services franchises, while also providing the franchisor with the necessary data to monitor performance and compliance. Prospective franchisees should be prepared to adhere to these documentation and software standards as part of their operational responsibilities.
