What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Amerispec Inspection Services Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must have a high-speed internet connection. The FDD states that the computer systems used for the franchised business must connect to Amerispec Inspection Services' facilities via a high-speed internet connection, and that the minimum requirements for this connection will be specified by the company. Franchisees are also required to keep their computer systems updated and maintained according to Amerispec Inspection Services' specifications.
In addition to the high-speed internet requirement, franchisees should anticipate annual costs for computer and equipment services ranging from $1,100 to $1,300. This estimate covers the printer, computer, software, and internet services that are not included in the Marketing and Technology Bundle.
Amerispec Inspection Services retains the right to modify the specifications and components of the computer systems in the future, potentially requiring franchisees to obtain, update, and use specified computer hardware and/or software, including licenses for proprietary software. Franchisees may also be required to electronically upload or transmit information on a periodic basis, potentially even daily. Amerispec Inspection Services also has the right to independently access sales information and other data produced by the computer systems, without any contractual limitations, even if the data is maintained by a third party.
