What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Amerispec Inspection Services's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, any losses or gains accrued within the Advertising Fund will be carried over to subsequent fiscal years. This means that if the fund experiences a shortfall in one year, that deficit will be factored into the following year's budget. Conversely, if there's a surplus, those extra funds will be available for use in future advertising campaigns.

Furthermore, any interest earned by the Advertising Fund must be used to cover expenses related to promoting the AmeriSpec Inspection Services names and marks before any of the principal is applied to those expenses. This prioritization of interest income helps to maximize the impact of the fund by ensuring that all available resources are directed towards advertising and promotional activities.

This policy provides a level of financial stability and continuity for the advertising efforts of the Amerispec Inspection Services franchise system. Franchisees can be assured that the advertising fund will not be depleted due to short-term losses and that any gains will be reinvested to further promote the brand. However, franchisees should also be aware that the company has sole discretion over advertising methods, media selection, and campaign terms, and there is no guarantee that individual franchisees will directly benefit from advertising in their local market.
