What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Amerispec Inspection Services FDD, the National Accounts Program is a voluntary program that offers franchisees the opportunity to provide services to consumers affiliated with national customers. If a franchisee chooses not to participate in the National Accounts Program, Amerispec Inspection Services or its other franchisees may receive leads in the non-participating franchisee's territory.
This means that an Amerispec Inspection Services franchisee who opts out of the National Accounts Program risks losing potential business to the franchisor or other franchisees operating within their territory. While participation in the program does not guarantee leads, as lead flow varies by territory and the franchisor has the right to distribute or not distribute leads at their discretion, opting out opens the door for competition from within the Amerispec Inspection Services franchise system.
Prospective franchisees should carefully consider the potential benefits and drawbacks of participating in the National Accounts Program. While participation requires adherence to the terms and conditions set by the National Accounts, it also provides an opportunity to tap into a network of customers marketed by these national entities. The decision to participate should be based on a thorough assessment of the franchisee's business goals, risk tolerance, and the specific market conditions within their territory.
