This Agreement and all rights granted herein shall also automatically terminate, without further notice, upon Assignment (as defined in the Franchise Agreement) of the Franchisee's AmeriSpec franchise, unless the Assignment merely transfers ownership of the AmeriSpec franchise from an individual owner(s) to a Corporation or other legal business entity and the Franchisee retains majority ownership of that entity.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 AmeriSpec Inspection Services FDD, the email agreement automatically terminates upon assignment of the franchise. This means that if a franchisee sells or transfers their AmeriSpec Inspection Services franchise to a new owner, the email agreement associated with the franchise is terminated without any further notice.
However, there is an exception to this automatic termination. If the assignment of the AmeriSpec Inspection Services franchise is merely a transfer of ownership from an individual owner or owners to a corporation or other legal business entity, and the franchisee retains majority ownership of that entity, then the email agreement does not automatically terminate. In this specific scenario, the email agreement remains in effect.
