Where must the Amerispec Inspection Services franchisee's business office be located?

Amerispec_Inspection_Services Franchise · 2025 FDD

Answer from 2025 FDD Document

During the Term of the Franchise, the Franchisee shall use the office of the Franchised Business exclusively for the sale of goods and services associated with the Names and Marks and authorized by the Company.

The Franchisee shall not permit the premises to be used for any other purpose, business, activity, use or function, unless approved in writing by the Company.

If the Franchisee desires to operate any other type of business, and such business is not prohibited under the provisions of this Agreement, the Franchisee must operate that business from a separate office, unless approved in writing by the Company.

If that office is adjacent to the office of the Franchised Business, there must be a separate entrance for that office and a separate telephone line for that business, and the Franchisee must take any other action required by the Company to assure customers do not believe there is any affiliation between that separate business and the Franchised Business.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Amerispec Inspection Services FDD, during the franchise term, the franchisee must use the office of the franchised business exclusively for selling goods and services associated with the Amerispec Inspection Services brand and authorized by the company. The franchisee cannot allow the premises to be used for any other purpose, business, activity, use, or function unless the company approves it in writing.

If the franchisee wants to operate another type of business that isn't prohibited by the agreement, they must operate that business from a separate office, unless the company gives written approval. If that separate office is next to the Amerispec Inspection Services office, it needs to have a separate entrance and a separate phone line. The franchisee also needs to take any other actions the company requires to ensure customers don't think there's any connection between the separate business and the Amerispec Inspection Services franchise.

This policy ensures that the Amerispec Inspection Services brand remains distinct and that the franchisee focuses on the core business. It also protects customers from potential confusion if the franchisee operates other businesses. Franchisees should carefully consider these requirements when choosing a location and planning their business operations, as failure to comply could result in a breach of the franchise agreement.
