riSpec shall not provide Support Services if the hardware or computer system, including third party software, peripherals, internet connection and other computer equipment, used to operate the Software do not meet AmeriSpec's then-current specifications,. Franchisee is required to comply with AmeriSpec's then-current specifications regarding computer hardware equipment, including third party software, peripherals, internet connection and other computer equipment, used to operate the Software. Training related to the Software will be provided as part of the initial franchise training program and by the software website.

    1. Fees and Payment. Franchisee will pay AmeriSpec an initial license fee of $300, which will be pro-rated for Franchisee's first year of operation. On June 1 of each year, Franchisee shall pay an annual renewal fee of $300. AmeriSpec reserves the right to periodically increase the renewal fee by a reasonable amount to reflect the Company's increased costs of providing services (including those provided by third parties) and Software access under this Agreement.
    1. Delivery and Installation. Franchisee is solely responsible for, data entry and verification of data. Franchisee is solely responsible for providing the hardware, third party software, peripherals, internet connection and other computer equipment required to run the Software and ensuring that such items meet AmeriSpec's then-current specifications.
    1. Ownership. Other than the license granted, no right, title or interest in all or any portion of the Software is conveyed or assigned to Franchisee, either expressly or by implication, by virtue of this Agreement, including any patents, copyrights, trade secrets, trademarks, trade names, or other intellectual property associated with the Software.

According to Amerispec Inspection Services's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to comply with the company's specifications for computer hardware and related equipment to operate the software. Specifically, the franchisee is responsible for providing the hardware, third-party software, peripherals, internet connection, and other computer equipment needed to run the software. It is the franchisee's duty to ensure these items meet Amerispec Inspection Services's current specifications.

Amerispec Inspection Services will provide help desk support for the software from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (CT) Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. However, this support is contingent on the franchisee's hardware and computer system meeting Amerispec Inspection Services's specifications. If the franchisee's equipment does not meet these standards, support services will not be provided.

Furthermore, Amerispec Inspection Services may require franchisees to obtain, update, and use specified computer hardware and/or software, including licenses for proprietary software. The franchisee's computer system must be compatible with Amerispec Inspection Services's systems, connected via high-speed internet with minimum requirements set by the company, and maintained according to their specifications, as detailed in the Operations Manual. Amerispec Inspection Services also reserves the right to designate a single source from whom the franchisee must purchase the computer system, including software and hardware components.
