- 8.6 Convention.
The Company has the right to periodically conduct, and Franchisee (or an approved representative) shall attend, a convention or seminar for all AmeriSpec franchisees.
Franchisee shall pay the Company a convention fee whether or not Franchisee attends the convention held by the Company.
- 8.7 Additional Programs.
The Company may, from time to time, provide additional programs and services to the Franchisee.
Unless otherwise approved by the Company, the Franchisee is required to participate in all such additional programs in accordance with procedures established from time to time by the Company.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Amerispec Inspection Services FDD, attendance at a convention or seminar is required. Amerispec Inspection Services has the right to periodically conduct a convention or seminar for all franchisees. The franchisee, or an approved representative, must attend.
Even if the franchisee does not attend the convention, they are still required to pay the convention fee to Amerispec Inspection Services. This means that franchisees should budget not only for the cost of travel and lodging to attend the convention, but also for the convention fee itself, regardless of whether they attend.
Franchisees are also required to participate in additional programs and services that Amerispec Inspection Services may provide from time to time, unless otherwise approved by Amerispec Inspection Services. This requirement ensures that franchisees stay aligned with the company's standards and any new initiatives.
