What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Amerispec Inspection Services FDD, franchisees are required to include their specific franchise agreement number in their 'doing business as' name. This number is appended to the standard name "AmeriSpec Inspection Services" to create a unique identifier: "AmeriSpec Inspection Services Franchise No. _______{insert franchise agreement number}".
This requirement ensures that each franchise location is distinctly identified, which is particularly important for legal and administrative purposes. By filing a fictitious business name statement with this unique identifier, Amerispec Inspection Services can track and differentiate between various franchise operations within its system. This helps in managing customer complaints, legal actions, and overall compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
For a prospective franchisee, this means they must incorporate their assigned franchise agreement number into their official business name and register it accordingly. This step is essential for operating legally and maintaining brand consistency across all Amerispec Inspection Services franchise locations. Additionally, it reinforces the franchisor's ability to monitor and support each franchise, ensuring adherence to standards and quality of service.
