What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Amerispec Inspection Services's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are explicitly prohibited from using their email accounts for unlawful purposes. The FDD states that franchisees must only use the email account for lawful activities. This restriction is further defined to include prohibitions against transmitting material that violates international, federal, state, or local laws, including those related to data use and franchise/business opportunity laws.

Additionally, franchisees are barred from using the email account in any way that infringes upon privacy rights, publicity rights, or any other rights of any person or entity. The email account cannot be used to display, transmit, or store material that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, hateful, obscene, threatening, libelous, or defamatory.

Amerispec Inspection Services retains the right to provide additional guidelines for email account usage, which will be provided to the franchisee in writing and incorporated into the franchise agreement. This underscores the importance of franchisees adhering to all guidelines to avoid potential breaches of the agreement and possible termination.
