What This Means (2025 FDD)

The 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document for Amerispec Inspection Services does not specifically discuss new employee orientation. However, it does state that all individuals who conduct home inspection services on behalf of the Franchisee must complete the technical part of the initial training and complete and pass the final exam designated by the Company for certification, unless the Company waives this requirement in writing, not later than 60 days after being retained or employed by the Franchisee.

Item 9.3 touches on staffing, noting that Amerispec Inspection Services does not control decisions regarding hiring, disciplining, or terminating employees. However, the company may require franchisees to perform background checks and drug testing as allowed by law. The franchisee remains solely responsible for hiring and maintaining employees, including determining if a prospective employee meets hiring and performance standards.

While the FDD does not detail a formal employee orientation program, it emphasizes the importance of training for inspectors and adherence to company standards. A prospective franchisee should inquire with Amerispec Inspection Services about recommended practices for onboarding new employees, ensuring they are well-prepared to deliver quality services and uphold the brand's reputation.
