According to Amerispec Inspection Services's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the company does not control decisions regarding who the franchisee hires, disciplines, or terminates as employees or agents. However, Amerispec Inspection Services may take legal action to enforce its rights under the franchise agreement.
Amerispec Inspection Services requires franchisees to perform background checks and drug testing where allowed by law. These policies do not represent approval or disapproval of prospective employees. The franchisee is solely responsible for decisions regarding hiring and maintaining employees, including determining if a prospective employee meets hiring and performance standards or is suitable for the position.
This arrangement is typical in many franchise systems, where the franchisee operates as an independent business owner. While Amerispec Inspection Services sets standards for service quality and may provide training, the franchisee retains control over their staff. This allows the franchisee to build a team that aligns with their business goals and local market conditions, while still adhering to the brand's overall standards.
