What is the condition for the spouse of a married individual NOT to sign the Amerispec Inspection Services Guaranty?

According to the 2025 Amerispec Inspection Services Franchise Disclosure Document, if the franchisee is an individual, their spouse is not required to sign the guaranty attached as Exhibit B. However, the spouse will be required to sign a Spouse Acknowledgement, also attached to the guaranty as Exhibit B. By signing this acknowledgement, the spouse acknowledges that Amerispec Inspection Services is relying on all assets of the guarantor, including jointly owned marital property, in accepting the guarantor's obligations.

Furthermore, the spouse also agrees to be bound by the non-competition and non-disclosure restrictions, dispute resolution provisions, and governing law provisions contained in the franchise agreement.
