What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Amerispec Inspection Services Franchise Disclosure Document, the agreement does not affect any existing obligations of either AmeriSpec Inspection Services or the franchisee that were created in other agreements. This includes, but is not limited to, the Franchise Agreement itself and all the terms contained within it.
This clause ensures that any prior commitments or responsibilities that Amerispec Inspection Services or the franchisee have towards each other, or to third parties, remain valid and enforceable, irrespective of the new agreement. It provides clarity and prevents potential conflicts arising from the new agreement overriding or altering pre-existing obligations.
For a prospective Amerispec Inspection Services franchisee, this means that any previous agreements or understandings with the franchisor are not nullified by signing the new franchise agreement. It's important for franchisees to carefully review all existing agreements to understand their ongoing obligations and how they interact with the terms of the new franchise agreement.
