What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Amerispec Inspection Services's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Advertising Fund may, at the company's discretion, reimburse franchisees for the cost of purchasing promotional materials used in connection with promotional programs authorized by the company. This means that while the Advertising Fund is primarily used for the general promotion of the Amerispec Inspection Services brand, franchisees may be able to get reimbursed for some of their local promotional expenses. However, this reimbursement is not guaranteed and is subject to the company's approval.
This discretionary reimbursement can be a benefit to franchisees, as it can help offset the costs of local advertising and promotional efforts. Franchisees are still responsible for their own local advertising campaigns and promotional programs designed to promote their specific franchised business. All advertising and promotional material must be submitted to Amerispec Inspection Services for approval prior to implementation.
It is important for prospective Amerispec Inspection Services franchisees to understand that the company has sole discretion over the methods of advertising, selection of media, locale of advertising and contents, terms and conditions of advertising campaigns and promotional programs. The company undertakes no obligation to ensure that any individual franchisee benefits directly or on a pro rata basis from the placement of advertising in its local market. Franchisees should inquire about the specific conditions and procedures for seeking reimbursement from the Advertising Fund during their due diligence.
