Does Amerispec Inspection Services have access to the franchisee's computer databases?

According to the 2025 Amerispec Inspection Services FDD, Amerispec Inspection Services does have the right to independently access sales information and other data produced by the Computer System. The franchisee is required to use a software system that Amerispec Inspection Services has developed or selected for the System of Operation. This system includes business contact management software and inspection software, as well as other communication or data storage systems. Franchisees may be required to electronically upload or transmit information on a periodic basis, including daily.

The franchisee's computer system must be compatible with Amerispec Inspection Services's computer systems and connected via high-speed internet. It must also be updated, maintained, and used in compliance with the specifications outlined in the Operations Manual. Amerispec Inspection Services may designate a single source from whom the franchisee must purchase the Computer System, including all software, hardware, and associated services; this source may be Amerispec Inspection Services or its affiliates.

Amerispec Inspection Services also utilizes the AmeriSpec Management System (AMS), an online business management tool. The AMS allows Amerispec Inspection Services to market, schedule, and communicate with the franchisee's customers. Franchisees must sign a license agreement with Amerispec Inspection Services for the use of this software. Amerispec Inspection Services retains all ownership rights in the franchisee's data. Upon termination of the Franchise Agreement, the franchisee's access to this software will be terminated by Amerispec Inspection Services.
