culture. We offer the training program on an as-needed basis throughout the year depending on our trainers' and attendees' availability.
Prior to opening your Hotel, or within 90 days of activating your Hotel in our system, your Hotel Representative(s) must complete our training program to our satisfaction.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Americas Best Value Inn FDD, the initial brand training program covers operations, marketing, sales, loyalty, and brand culture. This training is provided to the Hotel Representative(s) either virtually, at the hotel location, or at another designated location, at the discretion of Americas Best Value Inn.
The Americas Best Value Inn training program is designed to assist franchisees in understanding programs related to ABVI Hotels. Best practices in the hospitality industry are made available through a designated learning management system. The training program is offered on an as-needed basis throughout the year, depending on the availability of trainers and attendees.
The training is supervised by the Vice President, Training and Engagement, who has extensive experience in the hospitality industry. After the initial brand training, the franchisee is responsible for training their own employees. Training materials include the Brand Manual and other training modules and courses.
