Before you open your Hotel under the Brand, we will provide you the following assistance (at our discretion):
- Provide you with onboarding services. (Franchise Agreement, Section 4.(c));
- Assign a project manager or onboarding specialist to you. (Conversion Rider and New Construction Rider, attached as Exhibit D-1 and Exhibit D-2 to the Franchise Agreement, respectively).

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Americas Best Value Inn FDD, the franchisor does provide onboarding services to franchisees. Specifically, the FDD states that pre-opening assistance includes providing franchisees with onboarding services, as stated in Section 4.(c) of the Franchise Agreement. In addition to onboarding services, Americas Best Value Inn will assign a project manager or onboarding specialist to new franchisees.
Americas Best Value Inn also provides other forms of assistance before the hotel opens under the brand name. For franchisees converting an existing hotel, the franchisor will conduct an initial inspection of the hotel and develop a Property Improvement Plan (PIP). The franchisor may also review and approve the franchisee's plans, layouts, specifications, and drawings for the hotel. Additionally, the franchisor will gather all necessary information from the franchisee to integrate the hotel into the Central Reservation System (CRS).
It is important to note that the franchisor's assistance is generally discretionary, except for what is explicitly listed in the FDD. The FDD also specifies that the franchisor is not required to provide any assistance beyond what is listed. Therefore, prospective franchisees should carefully review the specific assistance offered and understand that additional support may not be guaranteed.
