What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Americas Best Value Inn Franchise Disclosure Document, the onboarding administration fee of $1,000 is due during or immediately after the onboarding process. This fee is non-refundable and covers the onboarding services that Americas Best Value Inn provides to the franchisee in connection with opening their hotel under the Americas Best Value Inn brand.
This fee is separate from other fees such as the initial fee, property improvement plan fees, and initial brand training fee. The initial fee is due at the time of the execution of the franchise agreement. Property Improvement Plan fees are paid in connection with quality assurance inspections of the hotel. The initial brand training fee of $1,500 is due in connection with the initial brand training obligations.
It is important to note that if there is a transfer of voting or ownership interests, a subsequent onboarding administration fee of $1,000 is immediately due for the onboarding services provided in connection with the new ownership of the hotel. This subsequent onboarding administration fee applies to each transfer and is subject to change at Americas Best Value Inn's discretion.
