What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Americas Best Value Inn Franchise Disclosure Document, prior to operating as a Brand Hotel, a franchisee must obtain all applicable licenses and permits. This is a condition that must be met before the franchisee can operate the hotel under the Americas Best Value Inn brand.
This requirement ensures that the franchisee is operating legally and in compliance with all relevant regulations. It is the franchisee's responsibility to identify and obtain these licenses and permits, which may include business licenses, health permits, and other permits specific to the location and nature of the hotel operation.
Failure to obtain the necessary licenses and permits could result in fines, penalties, or even the closure of the hotel. Therefore, prospective Americas Best Value Inn franchisees should carefully research and understand the licensing and permitting requirements in their area before commencing operations.
