What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Americas Best Value Inn FDD, Brand Standards dictate how a franchisee should operate their hotel to protect the brand's reputation and goodwill. These standards are detailed in the Brand Manual and other documents provided by Americas Best Value Inn. The Brand Manual includes suggested procedures and obligations under the franchise agreement.
Americas Best Value Inn may update the Brand Standards periodically and notify franchisees of these changes through their intranet or other methods. Franchisees are required to comply with the most current version of the Brand Standards, which supersede all previous versions. In case of any disputes regarding the contents of the Brand Standards, the version maintained at Americas Best Value Inn's home office will be considered controlling.
Americas Best Value Inn has the discretion to vary the standards for any franchisee based on specific site or circumstances, but this does not entitle other franchisees to similar variations. Franchisees must also use the Brand-designated Property Management System (PMS) and ensure it is installed before commencing hotel operations. All Online Travel Agencies (OTAs) and other distribution channels must connect to Americas Best Value Inn's Central Reservation System (CRS) through the designated PMS, unless otherwise directed or approved by Americas Best Value Inn in writing.
